2017 – A Year in Review

At Wolfhound Media we’ve never been very good at shouting about our achievements. Our New Year’s resolution is to put an end to that. 2017 was a great year for the company. Too good not to be proud of and not to talk about. We produced content for the fashion industry, for tourism, business and food. We worked with interior designers, universities, engineers, rugby clubs, textile manufacturers and with an opera singer on her new album.

We travelled across all of Northern Ireland, the Republic, Scotland and England to produce content for local, national and international clients. Alasdair’s aerial photography has continued to amaze and delight our clients. In 2017 he shot for corporate projects, broadcast television productions and a feature film.

In 2017, Wolfhound Media returned to the roots of its foundation three and a half years ago: drama. We produced two funded short films and worked across another two. All four films will be released in 2018.

Stuart’s debut feature film ‘The Dig’ is also now in post-production. Produced by Brian J Falconer and Out of Orbit Productions, in association with Wolfhound Media, the film stars Moe Dunford, Lorcan Cranitch and Emily Taaffe. It is directed by Ryan and Andy Tohill. The film’s premiere will also be in 2018. We will be sharing more about this throughout the year.

As good as 2017 was, we expect 2018 to be even better. Not just because of premieres and showcases, but because of all the hard work ahead of us.

In this industry you are only ever as good as your last job and that is the mantra we live by. It’s going to be an exciting 2018. Stay tuned. This will be the year we keep our resolution.
