Overview
This collection brings together interiors, residential spaces, commercial environments and carefully designed locations photographed across a range of commissions. Some images focus on the space itself, while others show how it sits within its wider surroundings.
The emphasis is on composition, light, proportion and atmosphere rather than simply documenting a room or building.
The Brief
Different spaces need to be shown in different ways.
Sometimes the priority is the layout and design of an interior. In other cases, the wider setting is just as important, particularly where the relationship between the property and its surroundings helps explain its character.
The aim is to create polished, useful imagery that communicates both the space and the experience of being there.
Our Approach
Camera position, perspective and light are handled carefully so the images feel clean and considered without becoming clinical.
Wide views establish scale and layout. Tighter compositions reveal materials and detail. Where appropriate, exterior and aerial images are used to give context and show the relationship between the space and its setting.
The Challenge
The challenge is to photograph very different spaces consistently without making them all look the same.
Each location has its own light, proportions, design and atmosphere, so the treatment has to adapt while still producing a coherent body of work.
